The Benefits of Language- For Successful Relaxation or Business in OverSeas Countries

I have been looking at this for quite some time, and am more and more convinced that language learning is a great way to relaax.

Why do I say this?

Well, quite simply, the methods that are used to learn a new language also require us to use our brains, often in a way as when we were children.
This is one of the methods behind the Rosetta Stone Language Learning programme, which uses Dynamic Immersion Technology.

This technology is based on using your mind with visual and aural cues, as when you learnt your native language as a child.

The programme, and others are mentioned on my web page on language.

I am deeply passionate about this, as I genuinely know that exercising our minds keeps us agile mentally, and also learning a new language opens a whole new world for us on the international arena.

I again welcome you to the language page, with links to reviews, and comparisons of different language products.

Learning A Second Language or More?

The Importance of Language-Learning

Why should we learn a foreign language? After all, the whole world speaks English. Well, there's some truth in this argument, but only some. There are many reasons for learning a new language:

Personal Development

By learning a new language, you gain new horizons, but at the same time you reinforce your own identity, and therefore also your self-confidence. A foreign language can contribute to a stronger personality.

Cultural Reasons

It is a fundamental truth that cultures define themselves through languages. A foreign language gives you access to another culture. It gives you the ability to communicate and to exchange views with people all over the world that you would otherwise not have the chance to know.

Educational Reasons

Learning a foreign language opens up a whole new dimension. It has a positive effect on intellectual growth and it enriches and enhances mental development.
Learning a foreign language is especially effective at an early age. It greatly benefits reading and writing in one’s own language; there's evidence that, like musical education, it contributes significantly to the development of individual intelligence.

Economic Reasons

In a globalized world characterized by international links and intercultural connections, linguistic skills are crucial for employment and career. The knowledge of foreign languages increases job opportunities in many careers where knowing another language is a real asset.

As someone who has learnt more than one language, I feel I am able to suitably recommend the better programmes available.

I have learnt several languages, through numerous methods, including touring, and living in foreign countries, as well as the more traditional methods in school.

However, now that I am older, and working full time, I have had to look at other ways to learn new languages, and will explain those methods in more detail below.

Many of us spend more time in front of a computer, and this has motivated me to look at the CD ROM language learning packages available as well as the online language learning options.

I am very impressed with the programmes released by Rosetta Stone, as they are all very well presented, and utilise interactive methods to teach the languages.

They are all designed with native speaker’s voices, and the programmes are used by organisations like the USA military, and numerous multi national corporations.

I fully recommend the successful design, and ease of use of these programmes.

A wide variety of languages are covered as well.

Relax- with the New Kindle Reader

Yes- You can relax with the new Kindle Reader.

I hear some of you already asking- what is it?

The Kindle Reader is a new elctronic device, similar in concept to an iPod for music, but in this case, a device that holds many stored books, magazines or newspapers.

It is a fantastic device, as it is light, and works on the principles of mobile internet, where the material can be downloaded from any hot spot, connected to the net.

The titles are cheaper than the printed versions, and much lighter to carry around 100 books in!

At the moment, the device is only available in the United States, but would like to think in time, it will become available elswehere too.

For more information on the Kindle, click here.

The device is available from Amazon.
